Getting to Ladakh

Participants can reach Ladakh via direct flights to Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) from Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu and other major cities.

Flights

Multiple daily flights operate from Delhi year-round. Flight time: ~1 hour 20 minutes.

Road

Manali–Leh highway and Srinagar–Leh highway are open seasonally (June to September).

Mandatory Arrival Timeline

Acclimatization Plan (Mandatory)

All runners must follow the official acclimatization schedule recommended by Sarmang.

Day 1–2

Arrive in Leh, rest, light walk only.

Day 3–7

Stay in Leh; short runs, hydration, local sightseeing at low intensity.

Day 8–10

Travel to KOYUL (Base Village), Elevation: 4200m
Acclimatize for 2 days in Koyul with Sarmang Team.
