The entire route from Koyul to Umling La is supported by a multi-layer medical system:
Our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) partner provides on-ground ambulances, rescue teams, oxygen backup, and rapid evacuation support throughout the race.
If a runner shows signs of AMS or physical distress, medical teams will evacuate them immediately to the nearest medical point.
Equipped 4×4 emergency vehicles are stationed at strategic segments.
Critical cases will be shifted to Leh for advanced medical treatment.
Running above 4000m carries a significant risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), HAPE, and HACE. Immediate reporting of symptoms is mandatory.
If symptoms worsen, medical disqualification is mandatory.
A pre-medical certificate is compulsory for all runners.

Insurance proofs will be verified during bib distribution.
Runners choosing to voluntarily withdraw must report to the nearest medical station or route marshal. Transport will be arranged to move drop-outs safely to Koyul or Leh.
